HomeHunt is a national website for affordable and social housing, with thousands of homes advertised each year by social landlords across the UK. A2Dominion currently advertise stock on this site that is outside of the Search Moves areas. From 1st June 2018 we will also be advertising properties within Spelthorne and Elmbridge on this website. To register on HomeHunt please visit HomeHunt or speak to A2Dominion’s Central Lettings Team on 0208 825 1981.

Former Paragon residents in the South East PA Housing region are now applying to Search Moves. Previously, properties outside of Elmbridge and Spelthorne were advertised on a system called HomeKey, which we stop using on 14.03.18. In the near future we will start to advertise these properties on Search Moves too. Some property adverts give preference to applicants connected to the Borough in which the property lies.

All applicants registered with PA Housing were asked to re-register their application by 12th January. There was an extended period of grace until 26th February during which applications could be reactivated. This has now passed and any neglected applications have now been cancelled. Thank you to everyone who did re-register.

Spelthorne Borough Council is running a six-week consultation, starting from 20 April, to gain the views of residents on proposed changes to its Housing Allocation Policy

The current Housing Allocation Policy was published in spring 2018 and is due to be updated to reflect wider policy and law changes. In response to increasing demand for social housing and the existing levels of homelessness, amendments to the allocations policy are needed to ensure that it reflects current priorities and that applicants who are most in need are prioritised.

Visit by 23:59 on Wednesday 1 June to read the background report and complete the short questionnaire.

To request a paper copy of the consultation, please email or call 01784 446380.

Spelthorne Borough Council is currently offering a one-off payment to households to primarily assist with food and fuel bills over the winter period.

Residents are invited to apply to the Council for the one-off payment as part of the Government’s Household Support Fund scheme. The Council are offering three levels of support, depending on the applicant’s circumstances:

£80 - provided for households with children

£60 - provided for single people or families without children

£50 - provided for over 70s

The expectation is that the funding should primarily be used to support households in need with food, energy and water costs.

The scheme will run until 31 March 2022, or whenever all the funding is allocated so applicants are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.

Please visit for information and to apply. If you need assistance in filling in the form, please call 01784 446 446.
