Spelthorne Housing Register and offers of accommodation during the Covid-19 Outbreak
It will take us longer to assess applications to join the Council’s Housing Register. Please allow at least 21 days from the date that you submit your application on the Search Moves website before asking us for an update.
If you wish to check on the status of your application, please email us in the first instance using housingadvice@spelthorne.gov.uk. Depending on staffing levels over the coming days and weeks, we may be forced to suspend accepting new applications and the assessment process for existing applications. We will update this page if this happens.
Whilst we are still establishing the measures which our Housing Associations are taking, we expect that any offers of accommodation will take much longer to process and verify. Additionally, it will likely take much longer for properties to be in a ready to let condition. Again, we would ask for your patience in the current circumstances.
If you need to provide documents / evidence, you will be asked to provide these by email (either scan your documents or take photos of them) to options.documents@spelthorne.gov.uk, post, or through dropping it to the post-box at the Council Offices. We will always aim to be flexible in requests for documents given the current situation.
